A new blog...a reflection on the arrest of UNPD staff member Waheed al Borsh

In the late fall we will be lauching an art installation featuring over 100 portraits of the men, women and children of Gaza. Learn more about it here.

We All Live in Gaza.  Here you can follow our independent journey back to the Gaza Strip with words, video and photography.  2016 marks the third trip to inside the siege.  It is an independent  attempt to understand how and why such a life-crushing situation exists.  It is a mission to visit with the many men, women and children met in Gaza over the past four years.

The people of Gaza speak eloquently about their situation.  It is our sincere desire to help them share  their stories with the world outside the concrete and barbed wire barricades.

We are now in the UK working to complete the final edit of the feature documentary.  In May entrance was blocked into Gaza by the Israelis, but thanks to Atif and Rami Eisa of the Media Group and Pam Bailey inside the territory, the final taping needed for the edit was successfully accomplished.

Simultaneously, here in the UK and on the U.S. East Coast, in Washington, DC in collaboration with the Untied Palestinian Appeal and the web site We Are Not Numbers we are organizing a series of art instllations to help bring a slice of Gaza to America and Europe in the form of large scale portrait images.  It is projected this arts display will lanch in 2017.  In this manner the project hopes to build bridges and share what is learned with you our audience.

Yes, our mission is ambitious... but that said please do explore the site, watch and share the videos and offer your own content and critical feedback.  There is much already posted....much more to come.

Thank you,

Faith

When you walk to the edge of all the light you have and take that first step into the darkness of the unknown, you must believe that one of two things will happen: There will be something solid for you to stand upon, or, you will be taught how to fly.
